    The relation between damping factor \(\xi\) and the logarithmic decrement \( \delta\)  are related by

    \(\xi =\frac{1}{\sqrt{1+\left ( \frac{2\pi}{\delta } \right )^{2}}}
    \\=\frac{1}{50.275}
    \\=0.0198
    \\\approx 2\%\)

    Therefore value of damping factor is approximately 2 %.
